Denise Richardson from Hollywood, Fl (not to be confused with Denise Richards of Hollywood, CA- happens all the time I'm sure) wrote a great article highlighting Americans For Fairness in Lending (AFFIL). Here is a bit of the much earned praise

AFFIL works! Just take a look at what they have accomplished since they launched in 2006.

In March of that year, AFFIL teamed up with James Scurlock, the award-winning director of the film Maxed Out. Through a collaborative effort they continue to provide free screenings of the film in communities throughout the country, raising awareness and educating Congress and consumers to dangerous debt and lending industry practices that Americans are vulnerable to.
