Consumer Groups Oppose Move to Pass Weak Data Security Bill

The House leadership plans to schedule a floor vote on H.R. 3997, the “Financial Data Protection Act.” Groups urge instead to bring to the floor H.R. 4127, the “Data Accountability and Trust Act,” a much more consumer-friendly bill.
